Villa Vesna Apartment is a second floor apartment in a private villa situated in one of the prime areas of the seaside town of Pula in Istria. Guests will appreciate its cool freshly decorated interior. The apartment has wonderful sea views over the local marina and is situated in a charming residential area of similar villas with Mediterranean gardens. There is an uninterrupted view of the sea, since the villa is the first villa between the sea and the town- about 100 metres from the sea and the road. Along the whole of the apartment stretches a spacious balcony which provides sunbathing and outdoor dining, but gives you a feeling of space and air, with changing vistas of the sea and coastline. Wonderful for outdoor breakfasts in the sunshine, or evening dinners with the lights of the marina and the town in the distance. The apartment is only five minutes drive from lovely local beaches, cafes, shops, walks and some of the best restaurants in the region. Pula town: Villa Vesna apartment is located about two kilometres from Pula town centre in a very desirable area close to the Marina Veruda, to the beaches at Verudela and a short drive from the attractive bay of Pjescana Uvala (Sandy Bay); where are to be found some of the best hotels and restaurants in Pula. Pula is the principal town of the region, providing ample shopping and an excellent range of bars and restaurants. Walk through Pula and experience old town streets and squares some of which were there even in Roman times. The stunning amphitheatre is from the first century AD and ranks the sixth largest in the world. Other important Roman monuments include the Temple of Augustus and the Triumphal Arch of the three Sergii from 29BC, at the entrance of the main shopping street. In the heart of the old town is a medieval square on the site of the Roman Forum, where can enjoy relaxing in the cafes and restaurants. A very important early Christian site is the church of St Maria Formosa, in the centre of the city, dating from the 6th century AD. Beaches: Just 300 metres walk takes you to the closest spot for swimming and there is excellent swimming from the beaches close by at Verudela and Pjescana Uvala. The other principal beaches in the Pula area are at Stoja and Valkane. About 10km from Pula are the villages of Medulin, Pomer and Premanatura. Medulin has a sheltered sandy beach ideal for children. A short boat trip takes you to the nearby islands such as Levan, where the swimming from a sandy beach is wonderful and there are three beachbar/restaurants with fresh seafood and grilled meat. For swimmimg and sunbathing in the most spatacular location head towards the pretty village of Premantura which is the entrance to the nature reserve of Rt Kamanjak (Kamenjak Promontory), the very tip of the Istria peninsula, where you swim in crystal clear sea and enjoy watching swimmers jumping from the cliffs into the deep water below.
